PHOTO! Here is a picture of that Glass Frog (aka the “See Through” or “Crystal” Frog), a transparent frog found in Ecuador. The Glass Frog (real name yalinobatrachium pellucidum) is among a group of stunning discoveries revealed tonight by Conservation International (CI).

The location of the find is the Nangaritza Protected Forest in Ecuador.

The report’s most fascinating discovery is not unique – the glass frog reportedly had already been known about. Yet, as an endangered species, the imagery tonight is shocking – the ability to see all internal organs as if you are viewing the frog through glass.
