USA v Italy is currently tied because of a stunning Goal by Giuseppe Rossi.

Giuseppe Rossi is from New Jersey, born in Teaneck, but moved to Italy at age 13 for soccer. And boy can he strike.

Rossi tells press in advance of today’s game how it feels like playing against his home country:

“Of course, that’s the country where I was born, and that’s the country where I have my family and friends. It’s going to be a great game to watch, and for me to play against them is always something special.”

And special was that goal, a stunning strike down the center that just tied up the match after an initial lead by team USA. The second striker is only 22.
