Letterman Palin Joke YouTube!

Letterman Palin Joke YouTube

VIDEO! Here is the David Letterman Sarah Palin daughter and Alex Rodriguez joke YouTube video. Bristol Palin was Letterman’s intended subject of the joke; in error, Sarah Palin’s 14 year old daughter, not Bristol, was at a Yankees game.

Below is the original joke video and the response by Letterman.

Sarah and Todd Palin each individually issued statements slamming Letterman. Todd called the joke as discussing “rape” with his 14 year old daughter.

Sarah Palin says the joke was “sexually perverted” and “disgusting”. She also said Letterman’s joke that she looked like a “slutty flight attendant” as “pretty pathetic”. Letterman in the above response said he thought the flight attendant joke was actually pretty good.

Letterman then offered the Palins the opportunity to come on his show. Sarah has since issued a statement:

“The Palins have no intention of providing a rating’s boost for David Letterman by appearing on his show. Plus, it would be wise to keep Willow away from David Letterman.”

And as joked by Letterman, no comment by Alex Rodriguez to the clip.

Letterman is an asshole and a creep.
There is nothing funny about rape.

That was no apology, just more sick perverted creepyness .

I’m not normally one for all-caps, but I hate it when lies turn big, so, please understand, good people, that KNOCKED UP DOES NOT MEAN RAPED. Though the Palin’s younger daughter turned out to be the one at the Yankee’s game, it was quite OBVIOUSLY 18 year old Bristol being referred to in the admittedly crude but NOT APPALLING joke about the “awkward moment” during the seventh-inning stretch when the Palin’s daughter got “knocked up” by Alex Rodriguez. Compared to this joke, which Letterman has admitted may have been in poor taste, like thousands of other jokes he’s told over the years, I find the Palins’ pretending to misunderstand it to be far more disgusting. And then they have the gall to insinuate that Letterman may be a pedophile, whom their daughter would be unsafe around? THERE’S something to be appalled by, people.

    And the Palins

    These same people seem

I, too, thought Letterman was talking about the 18-year old daughter who has a history of having been “knocked up” when I heard the joke. Letterman didn’t use the word “rape” or even a euphemism for “rape” in the joke.

My guess is most people in the USA agree with what PeterD said JUNE 12TH, 2009 AT 12:01 AM.

Sarah Palin was knocked up, as well. That maybe why she was overly sensitive about the jokes. Wonder if it was rape?

Sex with a 14 year old is STATUTORY RAPE. If you don’t get that, you are no different from this beans for brains ” “celebrity” “. If he can’t offer a REAL apology then his words are empty. He blew it! He had a chance to research the record of “which daughter” before telling the “joke” on tv. He had a chance to address his mistakes with honesty, but he chose to make this mistake into just another cheap laugh. What a moron. I used to think he was mildly funny. Now I think he is the worlds biggest bungwipe. Pedophilia is not funny. Apologising for making a mistake about Pedophilia is not funny. Sure enough Letterman is going down the Oprah-Frey-million-little-pieces road.

Why aren’t these expainations seeping through. He was talking about the daughter that had been knocked up, beans for brains. No rape, statutory rape (no caps here for drama), no pedephilia. He made it very clear that he would never insinuate rape, statutory rape or pedephilia. It was a stupid, classless joke. But that is what he does. If you don’t like it, go to bed before 11.pssst. that is why they are called late night comics. They make stupid classless racy jokes to the late night crowd. Oprah on the other hand is as big as ever (no pun intended). I wouldn’t advice you watching her either. Stick to Rush Limbaugh on the radio. He just calls the President’s daughter the White House Dog and other funny things only you and your kind would get.

Letterman was wrong bottomline. You are just playing politics. Why not be real about it. Not funny at all. Did you really laugh?

Letterman was telling the joke to his left to get his laugh from his friends. He could care less about their Family.
Now he is a joke. He did it to himself on purpose. Watch and listen instead of justify. Your thinking is distrubing. An unkind agenda I bet.
We treat people trying to kill us better than our neighbors.
Yes we are neighbors. Please think about it..

Crass humor has its place, especially on late-night television. I’ve always thought that these hosts were too tame, considering they air in that precious time when indecency regulations are slackened. I was relieved when something Letterman uttered something contraversial. People can, and should, joke about everything - without exception, and without the fear of vindication. Otherwise, there is a precedent legitimizing censorship. If this joke warrants a public apology, who’s to say that Lolita doesn’t? What about Oedipus Rex?

Knocked up = pregnant. Look it up. He was referring to Bristol, who did get pregnant and is/was 18 at time of joke. To make a sexual joke about an 18-year old girl who, like it or not, is newsworthy to many, is a bit of color, but not inexcusable. Sarah Palin does kinda look like a slutty flight attendant, and I’m okay with that. I personally think her politics are atrocious, but that doesn’t mean she not attractive. All you folks out there who are allowing yourselves to get angry, are doing so because you haven’t taken the time to try to comprehend what Letterman said. BTW, the fact that he read the jokes in question a second time during his pseudo apology was awesome!

Blinded by his own hatred and pro-left bias, Letterman does not see the obscene manner in which he has hammered anyone not to his political liking. So reviling another family and its children is fair game while our sainted president gets a six month pass. His attack against children and pretended remorse deserves firing and nothing less. ?Oh gosh I thought the 14 year old I sexually smeared was really 18? is no apology. It means he thinks the same remarks, about an 18 year old girl he never met, are appropriate. Dump the bum.

David Letterman is a Republican. At least that is what his political affiliation was in the 1990s. Stop turning this into something partisan. This is just a political stunt by Palin, who is trying to look all “family values” for her 2012 run for the presidency. I’m sick of her.

For those of you with negative comments…
He did not say anything about rape. If you had seen the video, you would know.
I think a lot of you are just going off what you heard instead of investigating/watching the video. It was not an “..attack against children ..”
Fact of the matter is Palin had a daughter that was “knocked up”. If you want to bring politics into it. If Obama had a 17 yr old daughter that was “knocked up”, he would have been drummed out of the presidential race.
Face it. It was a funny ass joke that was told “late night” about public figures. Yes Palin’s kids are public figures. Their mom signed them up as such when she became a political figure. If I worked for the network, I would give WorldWide Pants more money!

I’m sure that the joke was just a huge misunderstanding, and that the target was the 18 year old daughter, and Palin should have known the kind of attention that her political career would draw towards her family. The only reason why a story such as this is making headlines is because all the Palin fanatics are crying over a mistake. If it were anyone else it would have slid by unnoticed. Just cause she was nearly vice president doesn’t mean she should be held above the celebrities whose families are stalked by the paparazzi and the children who are suffocated with cameras and flashing when spending a day with their parents. I mean seriously, it’s only a matter of time until the paparazzi put a kid into an epileptic seizure. If you ask me, that’s way more important, traumatizing, and offensive than one bad joke which amounts to a misunderstanding over which daughter attended the ball game.

The reason why a story like this is making headlines is because REPUBLICANS WANT IT TO MAKE HEADLINES. This will not be the last bull-crud issue we see being used to keep Palin’s name in the press for the next 4 years.

Wow, I seriously dont believe how anyone can have a problem with someone who’s job is to make jokes making a joke about a girl getting knocked up. Especially concidering the fact that she actually did get knocked up under differant circumstances. I find it frightening that we could have elected a vice president who can’t deal with a comment made by David Letterman, are we then supposed to believe that the Republicans have what it takes to deal with leaders of foreign powers, specifically of those we are at war with. If you can’t take a late night commidian’s jokes, you have no buisiness being in politics.

    How is this Palin’s fault!
Sarah Palin and her family are hard working, accomplished, and NORMAL family no matter what liberals like you say. I personaly think he might as well be a petifile because that joke was RUDE, UNECESSARY, AND MOST OF ALL OF POOR TASTE!
How dare you say the Palins were at any fault becuase they were the victims!

This is STILL america, however weak it may be and we ALL have the right to FREE SPEECH. I happen to agree with Letterman, both Palin and her daughter are sluts.

Better think twice people because when we start having to censor our speech because it “may offend” someone we will one day find ourselves slaves to a communist society; which we are headed for anyway.

Just when I think I have seen and heard it all, society manages to drain a little bit more out of the gene pool.
