So what if Ben is copying and pasting the same thing from one site to another. He has a good point… should he have to reinvent his point. It was well written in the first place. I would have done the same thing.

wow, Ben, you’re just going from site to site posting the exact same thing, cut and paste.

It’s a private corporation, they can choose to do as they please, just as Prejean did in her answer and her photo sessions.

This shouldn’t effect her position in the eyes of the public. Her opinion will still be highly respected because of her stature as Miss California when she first took the opinion. It’s like anything else where a title is stripped with nothing more than a passing wave — unless the pageant can and is willing to give sufficient details about how she “failed” to live up to her contractual obligations, people will treat her as if she still is Miss California (whether or not the pageant does).

And, by the way, it should cause great pause when the press release by the pageant reporting her termination for breach of contract would be kicked out in a second in federal court for failure to plead sufficient details to support a claim (see Twombly v. Bell Atlantic, 127 S. Ct. at 1974 (2008)). If a breach of contract claim couldn’t even get past the pleadings stage in federal court based on these facts (the smell test in federal courts of law), it shouldn’t pass the smell test in the public eye.
