Karine Ruby is dead. Karine Ruby, an Olympic snowboarding champion, is dead from a climbing accident on Mont Blanc.

French Prime Minister Francois Fillon issued a statement about Ruby’s death moments ago:

“Karine incarnated the emergence of snowboarding in France. The people of France will hold on to the memory of her talent and her joie de vivre.”

Ruby was a six time world champion, a gold medalist in the 1998 Olympics and silver winner in 2002.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Send your love.

Phil Spector received a 19 year prison term today.

Phil Spector, who is already 69 years old, must serve 19 years before being eligible for parole. The ruling comes after a retrial found Spector guilty in the murder of Clarkson. The first 2007 trial was deadlocked.

Veronica Lario, Silvio Berlusconi’s soon be ex wife who says the following of the scandal:

“I cannot be with a man who spends time with under-age women”.

La Repubblica claims something has affected Silvio’s numbers in the polls. The paper claims his approval rating has dropped 3% to 53%. He however maintains he has a 75% approval ratig.

La Repubblica wants answered how Berlusconi met the teen age girl, whose birthday party he attended and gave her a sizable gift. The paper issued 10 questions that include the following:

1 Mr President, how and when did you first meet Noemi Letizia’s father?

2 During the course of this friendship how many times, and where, have you met?

No questions have been answered by Berlusconi.

PHOTO! Here is the Facebook picture and video of Melissa Weber, a NY teacher who had sex with her student, claims police. Melissa Weber’s Facebook account showed the 27 year old Queens teacher as all smiles. Such is not the case now as she faces charges of having “engaged in sexual intercourse” with a 14 year old male student … in a school classroom!

Police say Weber and the student did something other homework in the second-floor classroom of MS/IS 8 in Jamaica, Queens multiple times between April 13 and May 14. What did Weber teach? Social studies. How social of her! Police say Weber told the teen:

“Don’t tell anyone. I could get arrested and I could lose my teaching license” .

Officials say the following in a statement yesterday:

“A teacher is accused of preying on a young student who she is entrusted to teach. A classroom should always be a safe place for a child. The defendant is alleged to have destroyed her students’ trust.”

Weber faces 7 years in jail. The day she was arrested she wrote on Facebook: “Melissa Weber is feeling very sick!!!” Watch her video below.

Noemi Letizia is a teenager, Silvio Berlusconi is clearly not, as the current prime minister of Italy. Noemi Letizia says she is “absolutely not” the illegitimate daughter of the Italian Prime Minister but she does call him Papi.

Silvio Berlusconi is fuming over any reports of the two, but is not answering how the two began to know each other. Oh, and then there is Veronica Lario, Silvio Berlusconi’s soon be ex wife who says the following of the scandal:

“I cannot be with a man who spends time with under-age women”.

When Letizia had her 18th birthday party, Papi Berlusconi was there, giving her a sizable gift. Supporters say that Silvio Berlusconi’s attention to Letizia is just being a great leader of the people. Nice spin? Mr Letizia tells the TIMES:

“Our leader is a man of the people. What is a leader if he doesn’t take a coffee with the ordinary man, speak with the butcher or the shopkeeper? Berlusconi is close to the public. Otherwise where would the votes come from?”

9 Veronica Lario said that you “frequent under-age girls”. Do you meet any others or “bring them up”?

10 Your wife says that you are not well and that you “need help”. What is the state of your health?
