The Ozzy Osbourne Tony Iommi Black Sabbath feud has escalated. Ozzy Osbourne is now suing Tony Iommi over interest in the Black Sabbath name and profits.
Ozzy Osbourne issued the following statement moments ago to press:
“It is with great regret that I had to resort to legal action against my long term partner, Tony Iommi, but after three years of trying to resolve this issue amicably, I feel I have no other recourse. As of the mid-1990’s, after constant and numerous changes in band members, the brand of “Black Sabbath” was literally in the toilet and Tony Iommi (touring under the name Black Sabbath) was reduced to performing in clubs. Since 1997 when Geezer, Bill and myself rejoined the band, Black Sabbath has returned to its former glory as we headlined sold-out arenas and amphitheatres playing to upwards of 50,000 people at each show around the world. We worked collectively to restore credibility and bring dignity back to the name “Black Sabbath” which lead to the band being inducted into the UK and US Rock & Roll Hall of Fames in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Throughout the last 12 years, it was my management representatives who oversaw the marketing and quality control of the “Black Sabbath” brand through OZZFEST, touring, merchandising and album reissues. The name “Black Sabbath” now has a worldwide prestige and merchandising value that it would not have had by continuing on the road it was on prior to the 1997 reunion tour. Tony, I am so sorry it’s had to get to this point by me having to take this action against you. I don’t have the right to speak for Geezer and Bill, but I feel that morally and ethically the trademark should be owned by the four of us equally. I hope that by me taking this first step that it will ultimately end up that way. We’ve all worked too hard and long in our careers to allow you to sell merchandise that features all our faces, old Black Sabbath album covers and band logos, and then you tell us that you own the copyright. We’re all in our 60’s now. The Black Sabbath legacy should live on long after we have all gone. Please do the right thing.”

Pamela Gosselin, Jon’s mother, is speaking out about the Jon and Kate mess. Pamela Gosselin says son Jon is not getting portrayed fairly in the media.
She tells the Star:
“I don’t think he will ever be portrayed fairly. It’s always twisted. I don’t think it’s fair, and it never will be.”

VIDEO! This evening is the final Tonight Show with Jay Leno. When Leno started, there was no YouTube nor Hulu. But Leno’s goodbye to the Tonight Show this evening could give Susan Boyle a run for title of biggest viral video of 2009.
Initial promo clips of tonight’s show have been featured on NBC 4 LA this afternoon featuring the interview exchange between Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. O’Brien, who has been on the show 17 times, laughs about Leno’s big feet, being told all week long about the “big shoes” he has to fill in taking over the Tonight Show.
But unlike the Leno O’Brien exchange, a reported montage of Leno’s greatest moments is expected to be the highlight of the night. Guests this week have already included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson and Billy Crystal.
O’Brien starts as Tonight Show host this Monday June 1.
It’s Jon and Kate Plus Labor Complaint as officials are investigating a child labor law complaint against TLC.
The Pennsylvania Department of Labor confirms it is investigating a complaint (a single complaint) about TLC’s use of Jon and Kate’s children on the popular tv show Jon and Kate Plus 8.
Troy Thompson of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor tellsUs Weekly:
“We’re not saying that they are not complying with child labor laws. We’re investigating a complaint. We’re not saying that there was or was not a violation, just that we’re conducting an investigation.”
TLC responds in the following statement:
“TLC fully complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Jon and Kate + 8 is no exception. For an extended period of time, we have been engaged in cooperative discussions and supplied all requested information to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. We will continue to engage the appropriate officials and meet any standards or regulations that are applicable to TLC productions.”

PHOTOS! Here are new pictures of Wanda Sykes’ baby twins Olivia Lou and Lucas Claude. Wanda Sykes’ baby photos splashed tv last night as she visited the The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.
The babies are roughly one month old, born to Syke’s wife Alex on April 27.
Wanda told Jay the following:
“Babies are very inconsiderate! Everyone said twins should be here at 35 weeks but nothing! Lots of waiting and they finally induced at week 39. I was [in the delivery room] when they did the C-Section. When the doctors tell you “Don’t look this way,” don’t look that way. It was not pretty.”
Wanda says her twins aren’t at all “twin like”:
“No! All hell broke loose! It’s like they were tag teaming us, you put one down and then the other one starts crying!
“There is nothing twin-like about these babies, they are just two babies. I mean, I don’t even think they know each other.”
Christopher Coleman is charged with killing his wife and two sons while having an affair with Tara Lintz.
Tara Lintz says she chatted with Coleman hours before the horrible killings.
Lintz says Coleman told her that he planned to divorce his wife to marry her the following year.
Coleman is currently being held until his next appearance date June 10.
Coleman claims he had received threats against himself as a result of work for Joyce Meyer Ministries. The last alleged note reportedly read:
“THIS IS MY LAST WARNING! YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN!”
Coleman faces three counts of first-degree murder.
