The Peter Broswick Brittanee Drexel case is now taking a peculiar turn.

Reports this afternoon say that Drexel, who is from New York, reportedly went to Florida without her parents’ knowledge. But once in Myrtle Beach, Drexel went missing.

Upon news of police naming Broswick as a person of interest, Drexel’s mother tells 13WHAM’s Sean Carroll she has a message for Broswick:

“Peter, we need to know what’s going on. Brittanee is very special to us. We need to know what is going on. We need to know why the authorities weren’t called. We need answers and we’re not getting them”.

Broswick has no comment.

Beloved NASCAR reporter for the Charlotte Observer David Poole is dead. David Poole died of a heart attack.

Poole was 50.

David covered NASCAR for the Observer since 1990. His last column ran today. Poole also hosted the popular radio program called “The Morning Drive” on Sirius NASCAR Radio.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

David Poole will be greatly missed.

Swine flu is now in Indiana. Swine flu has been confirmed in Indiana says state health officials moments ago.

Elizabeth Hart of the Indiana State Department of Health made the announcement Tuesday. Hart says the Indiana swine flu case is in the northern section of the state. The person is young and not in serious condition..

This marks Indiana’s first swine flu case confirmed.

CDC has not yet listed the case on its charts as of 2 pm PST today.

Obama’s White House Military Office head Louis Caldera was responsible for the Air Force One scare over New York.

Should Louis Caldera be fired? Louis Caldera ordered one of President Obama’s Air Force One planes to fly over New York recently sending New Yorkers into panic. Crazy!

The purpose? To take some pictures. With Air Force One? Come on – get out the Minivan if you want to go sightseeing, Louis!

Caldera says:

“Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision. While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it’s clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused.
