Nikki Catsouras Crash Photos Case

Nikki Catsouras (Porsche Girl) crash photos case will get an appellate ruling shortly. The Nikki Catsouras crash photos case is currently before the 4th District Court of Appeal in Santa Ana that must rule by June 1 if the family’s civil case against the California Highway Patrol can go ahead.

In a story that predates LALATE NEWS, Nikki was killed Halloween Day 2006, crashing her father’s Porsche at 100 mph in Lake Forest. Nikki was 18.

CHP reportedly took photos at the crash scene. From there, two employees allegedly leaked nine photos that circulated on the internet promptly. The photos were horrific, showing her nearly decapitated body.

The family sued CHP in Orange County. There the court reportedly dismissed the suit claiming the family can’t assert Nikki’s rights of privacy against the defendants.

Kim Kardashian Overexposure?

Kim Kardashian Overexposure

Kim Kardashian should have a chat with Zac Efron about overexposure. Is Kim Kardashian heading for overexposure?

Kim Kardashian appears on the cover of Life and Style this week “100% UNRETOUCHED” telling fans her stats

“I’m 35-26-40. My dress size is a 4 or a 2/4. I wear a size 4 skirt and size 27 jeans.”

But do people really care what her stats are — and do they believe her? Comments on E! Online are currently the following.

- That said, I have to say that there is no way she wears a size 4 skirt.
- I love Kim and her sisters but there is no way this girl is a 2/4
- ..With the big butt that you have, I do not think that you could fit into a size 2 or 4.
- I happen to think she is beautiful, but there is NO way she is wearing size 27 jeans.

Of course, is all this chatter about her size great or bad press?

Zac Efron recently told USA Weekend he is always on alert not to move his face into overexposure. Compared to Kardashian, Efron says

“I didn’t want to be famous. I get sick of seeing my own face around.”

Efron believes Hollywood has a game of tag:

“I used to get so frustrated. For a while, I felt like I was completely lost in celebrity-land. I didn’t know how to handle it. Now I know that I have to plot where I’m going, when I’m going there and where the back entrance is. It’s like I’m playing a giant game of tag.”

Is Kardashian playing tag? Is she chatting up her body parts too often to fans?

Let’s recap. One day it’s Kim’s fake tattoo. Another day it’s her teenage cleavage. Then it’s her suntan. Then it’s herlook alikes. And if that’s not enough, she switches to “blonde” only to tell readers later it was a wig. All this media feeding by Kardashian about her body and facial features – enough already, or give more?

LALATE’s vote? Keep it koming! As long as it’s fun, entertaining, and even perhaps self depreciating, it works.

What does Obama Mean in Japanese?

What does Obama Mean in Japanese

What does Obama Mean in Japanese? Obama has meaning … in Japanese. In fact “Obama for Obama!” t-shirts were a hot Japanese item in 2008.

Obama in Japanese means “Little Beach”.

Obama (Obama-shi) is a city located in Fukui Prefecture, Japan. Says Wikipedia:

“In the Edo period, Obama was the capital of the Obama Domain and was the starting point of the Mackerel Road to Kyoto. The area was municipalized as a city in March 30, 1951.”

During the campaign, Obama Japan supported Obama the candidate, which prompted Barack to state:

“I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the city of Obama for your support and encouragement and thank you for your thoughtful gift. We share more than a common name. We share a common planet and common responsibility. I look forward to a future marked by the continued friendship of our two great nations and shared commitment to a better, freer world.”

The gift was from the mayor of Obama – a letter, DVD and lacquerware chopsticks. In October 2008, Seiji Fujiwara who lead the Obama for Obama campaign in Japan, told press:

“We are very proud to share the name of our town with Obama. We very much hope he wins. We think he would make a very good president.”

Arthur Leigh Allen Zodiac Killer

PHOTOS! Here are pictures of Arthur Leigh Allen. Was the Zodiac Killer Arthur Leigh Allen or Guy Ward Hendrickson? Deborah Perez says her father Guy Ward Hendrickson was the Zodiac Killer as broke last night on LALATE. But many don’t believe her claim and still believe it was Arthur Leigh Allen.

The Zodiac killer claimed the lives of at least five persons in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1960s, the last believed to be Paul Lee Stine in 1969. Perez says the killer was her now deceased dad.

“I was a child and just thought I was helping my dad. I didn’t know….

“He told me he was sick, and all I wanted to do was help my dad. He kept telling me he was sick and he killed many, many people. I had no idea.”

Perez claims she wrote some of the notes to newspapers for her father at age 7. She told press she has given what she asserts are Stine’s eyeglasses and some of those notes to investigators. But many still believe the killer was Allen, now deceased.

There are literally hundreds of fascinating websites online that have detailed their accounts of the Zodiac killer. Nevertheless to this day not one arrest has been made, nor probably ever will.
