Today, Elizabeth Edwards’ book Resilience gave excerpts to press. Below are pictures of Hunter broke exclusively by LALATE months ago:

Back in January, LALATE told you the book’s official description is “an unsentimental and ultimately inspirational meditation on the gifts we can find among life’s biggest challenges.” Then, Edwards’ rep told press the book would discuss the Rielle Hunter “affair and how she experienced it.”

John Edwards has said of his affair:

“Two years ago I made a very serious mistake which fed a self-focus, an egotism, a narcissism that leads you to believe that you can do whatever you want.”

Now today Elizabeth Edwards’ rep says that upon hearing news of the above affair, Elizabeth vomited in the bathroom. She says John confessed of his affair to her just days before he declared his 2006 presidential run. She told him to drop out but he refused.

Reports today say Edwards discusses in the book the affair in detail but doesn’t mention Hunter by namebut says she is “pathetic.”

The book drops May 12.
