Movie Reviews are in for Obsessed and they are HORRIBLE! Obsessed reviews put the movie as predictable and waste of time. Dull is what the Hollywood Reporter says of the film:

Until Beyonce and Ali Larter duke it out at the climax, this is one dull film.

….. Writer David Loughery makes no attempt to supply a motive or even a misunderstanding for the young woman’s aberrant behavior. She’s just Psycho Temp from the moment she brings Derek into her cross hairs.

Reviews from the Star Ledger are the same:

Don’t hate ‘Obsessed’ because it’s predictable . Once you know the basic plot of “Obsessed” — crazy white secretary goes after married black boss — you know how it’s going to play out.

…. But the fact that you know the end somehow almost makes it even more satisfying when it finally arrives.

And the Daily News says one star!

Unfortunately, the whole movie seems constructed just to get the singer/actress into a knock-down catfight, shoehorning one of show business’s sexiest entertainers into a scorned-woman role.

And even then, the pay-off feels cheap.

The result is more like “Delayed Frustration” than “Fatal Attraction.” Knowles actually gets second billing after Idris Elba as Derek, a driven husband, father and VP of a Los Angeles financial firm.

Definitely worth skipping!
