We now know the puppy was first named Charlie but renamed.

While the dog pictured above has not been formally confirmed as Bo this weekend, it’s a sure thing … and  a big doggy news leak this week.  Boo has black fur, white chest and paws, and is so cute!

Bo is six months. His name reportedly derives from an Obama cousin who has a cat named Bo and Michelle’s dad was nicknamed Diddley. Names turned down were Frank and Moose.
