PHOTO. Here is a picture of the Ambassador Hotel Tulsa in which Marvin Webster was found dead in his bathtub moments ago. Marvin Webster had been living in the Ambassador Hotel. But today the staff grew concerned after realizing the former NBA great hadn’t been seen recently.
When they entered his room, Hotel staff found Marvin Webster dead in his batthub.
Local authorities do not suspect foul play. They believe Marvin Webster died of natural causes, currently under investigation. Marvin Webster helped lead the SuperSonics to their first NBA finals.
Marvin Webster dead at age 56.

Marvin was a great gentle gaint whom I met when he got married to his second wife, my sister-in-law (Laudess Webster) who currently in VA Beach, Va. I am deeply sadness to hear about his death. God had a wonderful shooting star with him today. Rest in peace Marvin and I will always remember you sitting under the palm tree by the pool in our backyard at my son’s high school graduation. You made a remark that I will never forget. I quote, “When the saints go marching in”. I hope you have marched in. God bless! Your sister-in-law.
