50 Dollar Computer: $5O AT&T Computer!

50 Dollar Computer: $5O AT&T Computer

AT&T is offering new $50 computers. GMA featured the new 50 dollar computer this morning. These are netbooks computers at a ridiculous, but very real, cheap price.

Here are the details. The netbooks and are available when you sign up for a two year contract for high speed internet with AT&T in Atlanta and Philadelphia.

Reports ABC:

And the AT&T deal for the $50 netbook means you pay almost $60 a month for a wireless data service that’s both in your home and out on the road.

Other pricing is available.

Even better – Verizon has an offer coming too! Verizon will offer $99 netbooks soon.

And if you are wondering, for about $350 to $400, you can buy netbooks without a contract with AT&T or Verizon, and they are compatible, from companies like Amazon.

It will be interesting to see how successful these marketing campaigns are.
