Craig Fugate Obama FEMA!

Obama has named Craig Fugate to head FEMA. Craig Fugate comes to FEMA as Florida’s emergency manager. Obama said of Fugate today:
“[He will] improve our preparedness, response and recovery efforts.”
Fugate has headed the Florida post since 2001 and before that was second in command for four years. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said of Fugate today:
“The work he’s accomplished in Florida serves as a model for other states. He will be a tremendous asset to FEMA and it’s employees.”
FEMA’s past head R. David Paulison thinks the appointment is a wise one:
“There are few people around the world that have the type of disaster experience that Craig Fugate has.”
