Even the best singers often don’t put out good publicity snaps or single cover artwork. Madonna’s pathetic 4 Minutes artwork looked like it took 3 minutes. Mariah’s robotic publicity shots for her last album looked great, but didn’t look like her .. or anyone human.

Even Kelly Clarkson recently laughed how much her current album is airbrushed up.

But with Spears, the artwork is real, original, looks like her, is hot … and beyond all that, works. Well done yet again by Britney Inc!

Norm Van Lier is dead. Norm (Stormin’ Norman) Van Lier, the Chicago Bulls great, is dead at 61. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Stormin’ Norman was expected to show up to work for Comcast SportsNet. But when he didn’t, staff suspected the worse. They went to his home and broke down the door to find him. Cause of death is yet unknown.

Norm Van Lier played with the Bulls from 1971-1978 averaging 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists.

Tom Brady married! Yes, this time Tom Brady appears to have actually married despite previous false wedding reports. Tom Brady got married here in Santa Monica today says the report.

Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen married Brady in Santa Monica today  inside St Monica’s Catholic Church, claims Us Weekly. She, and her three dogs, reportedly wore Dolce & Gabbana.

LALATE can tell you that St Monica’s Church is just minutes away from several reported homes owned by the couple in the Pacific Palisades.

Bundchen and Brady have been dating since 2006. Last year place Gisele was the highest paid model in the world earning $35 million in just one year.

ACT Test Registration sign up online has been extended. The ACT Test Registration via mail is due February 27, 2009 today.

But ACT has updated its site to inform students that you can register online for the next test now as late as Monday, March 2.

The update website reads:

Next ACT Test Date: April 4, 2009
Registration Deadline: February 27, 2009

Update: ACT has extended the registration deadline for web submissions to test in the U.S., U.S. territories, Puerto Rico, and Canada to Monday, March 2. The web submission deadline to test in other locations remains Friday, February 27. The postmark deadline for submitting paper folders without a late fee also remains Friday, February 27

So next up is the American Idol Season 8’s Wild Card Round. As LALATE told you earlier, American Idol Wild Card Round for Season 8 night will replace the normally televised “Idol Gives Back” episode not returning this season.

That Wild Card night features all eliminated semifinalists who come back one more time to compete. There reportedly the judges, not America, will choose 3 more to join the 12 for the finals, bringing the total to 15 in the finals.
