Michael Boley could be coming to the Giants at $5 million salary. Michael Boley is with the Giants today and could be signed says reports.

Michael Boley is a free agent linebacker. SI.com’s Peter King is putting the possible Giants offer reportedly at $5 million per year. Boley is the 26 year old from the Falcons.

Some closer to the action say the Giants need that the linebacker bad. Mike Garafolo at the Star-Ledger is reporting Boley – Giants today too. He writes:

“From the sounds of it, if everything goes well, Boley could be a Giant by the end of the day.

“Boley, 26, has played in all 64 regular-season games since being drafted by Atlanta in the fifth round of the 2005 draft. He has 52 career starts, but he lost his starting spot this past season. Reports indicate Boley is better suited in a more aggressive scheme than the defense the Falcons ran under new head coach Mike Smith this past season. The Giants love to get their LBs moving downhill quickly, so Boley could do well if he winds up playing for new defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan – the Giants’ LBs coach for the past four seasons.”

Los Alamitos Mayor Dean Grose has resigned over the “No East Egg Hunt this Year at the White House” photo. Dean Grose says he is sorry for the picture depicting watermelons on the White House lawn.

The caption read:

No Easter Egg Hunt This Year and showed the White House grounds planted as a watermelon patch.

Grose had originally said there was nothing wrong with it.

“There is no way that I meant anything racist in my email. I was merely criticizing Obama’s fiscal plan, which is so horrendous that it’s almost as if it were written by watermelons.”

The City Council disagreed. City Manager Nita McKay released the following statement:

“On behalf of the city of Los Alamitos, we regret the unfortunate incident that occurred earlier this week and assure you this is not representative of our City Council, city staff and the community as a whole. We certainly do not condone perpetuating any stereotype associated with race, ethnicity, gender or religion. We are saddened that this incident has reflected poorly on the heart and soul of our unique community.”

Grose has since apologized.

“The attention brought to this matter has sadly created an image of me which is most unfortunate. I recognize that I’ve made a mistake and have taken steps to make sure this is never repeated.”

The resignation will take place next week.

J Lo has filed one baby of a lawsuit – $30 million against a baby stroller company. Silver Cross is being sued by Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony over a stroller photo.

The photo reportedly depicted Lopez with the stroller on their website and in newsletters. Lopez is unhappy and wants $30 million.

Claims Lopez:

“[Silver Cross] knowingly and intentionally misappropriated and used the names, images, likenesses and photographs of Lopez and Anthony to market and sell Defendants’ line of high-end baby carriages throughout the world.”

The story first reported by Access Hollywood has no comment from Silver Cross to the allegations.
