Usher’s wife Tameka Foster Raymond had a heart attack prior to plastic surgery says reports. Tameka Foster Raymond suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest prior to plastic surgery and  thereafter entered induced coma, said reports earlier this week. Now tonight, AP has a statement from the plastic surgeon confirming what LALATE broke to you days ago.

LALATE was the first to break online the initial details last week – a sudden announcement by Clive Davis that Usher would not be attending his pre Grammy bash due to  a family matter.

LALATE broke to you that the medical matter was complications surrounding a plastic surgery procedure by Tameka Foster Raymond in Brazil, that Usher was en route to Brazil along with a Los Angeles based Cedars Sinai neurosurgeon to consult.

Then LALATE NEWS informed you this week that the complications according to Brazilian press were prior to the plastic surgery, during sedation.

Now Ellen Dastry, spokeswoman for plastic surgeon Silvio Stermanm, confirms to the Associated Press what LALATE broke to you first – Foster was prepping for plastic surgery.

Foster reportedly then went into into cardiac arrest while being anesthetized, “but was revived in less than a minute by heart massage,” Dastry adds.

Foster is said to be stable and recovering well.
