Jodie Meeks of Kentucky Basketball set a new Kentucky record with 54 points last night to beat Tennessee!

Kentucky Basketball’s Jodie Meek’s 54 win brought Kentucky Basketball to a 90-72 win Tuesday night.

Meeks broke a 39 year old record set by Dan Issel. Meeks is now averaging 24.2 points in the nation, ranking him number 4. 54 points also is reportedly the highest for an SEC athlete since Chris Jackson’s 55 in 1989 while at Louisiana State.
