Jim Jones camp confirms the arrest. But police aren’t saying who was the alleged victim. At least not yet.

Jones’ attorney tells XXL Magazine:

“He was charged with misdemeanor assault this morning …. He was released on a desk appearance ticket.”

So who is the alleged victim?

XXL claims: “The man’s identity is unconfirmed but many speculate it’s the R&B singer’s manager, who is also brother to longtime Jay-Z associate Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith.”

No confirmation from police. Jones’ next court appearance is February 4. And his new album, ironically, drops days later.
