The L.A. Coroner confirms today Andre Young Jr died of an overdose.

LALATE reported the death of Andre Young Jr back in August.

Now an overdose of heroin and morphine has been released by the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner as the cause of death for Young.

“This case has been closed, it’s been ruled an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication,” says the coroner spokesman to PEOPLE.

Young died at age 20 on August 23. His mother is Jenita Porter, 40.
