Is Steve Jobs of Apple sick? A new report, aka rumor, says Steve Jobs is sick. Jobs’ health rumors are not new, hitting Apple multiple times this year.

But a new report in Reuters addresses what new evidence, or lack of it, came to light Tuesday. Apple shares fell 2% after technology website Gizmodo reported that Steve Jobs’s health was allegedly declining.

Apple’s response:

“[I]f ever Steve or the board of directors decided that he was no longer capable of doing his job as CEO of Apple, I’m sure they will let you know.”

Gizmodo started it all today, with quoted “solid source”. But as Reuters explains , Gizmodo “did not identify [the source], as saying that Jobs’s “rapidly declining” health was the real reason behind his decision to cancel a keynote speech at next week’s MacWorld conference. It titled the report “rumor.” “

Hopefully it’s false. Feel better Steve!
