PHOTOS! Here’s pictures of Anna Hansen! Anna Hansen of Colorado, Lance Armstrong’s girlfriend, is expecting. Anna Hansen and Lance Armstrong announced her pregnancy today to CNN.

Cyclist Lance Armstrong also said he is coming out of retirement and will race once again in the Tour de France.

Anna is expecting for June.

“This is a hopeful thing for testicular cancer survivors,” CNN medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta says today. “It means his body healed from the chemotherapy and surgery.”

Armstrong said today in a statement:

“After talking with my children, my family and my closest friends, I have decided to return to professional cycling in order to raise awareness of the global cancer burden.”

Hansen is a Program Manager and Recruiter for First Descents. The organization is located out of Vail and helps offer outdoor adventure experiences for young adults with cancer.

As a Colorado native, Anna loves nothing more than being outdoors, and Vail provides the perfect setting for her favorite activities, mountain biking and snowboarding. Anna graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has been a volunteer at the Children’s Hospital in Denver and serves on the board of directors for Camp Wapiyapi, a foundation providing hope and support for families with childhood cancer. Combining her passion for the outdoors with helping those fighting cancer makes First Descents the perfect job for Anna.
