A snow storm is heading for New Orleans and Baton Rouge! New Orleans Weather News is reporting snow in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and spreading.

Snow reports put the storm coming in from Baton Rouge east across much of southeastern Louisiana.

School districts are reportedly closed in East Baton Rouge, St. Helena, Pointe Coupee, Tangipahoa, Livingston and Bogalusa City schools, are closed Thursday.

The snow advisory is expected to carry throughout today after it drops three inches in southern and central Mississippi.
