Obama chooses Los Angeles’ Nancy Sutley! Obama has chosen Nancy Sutley as Head of the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Sutley is Los Angeles’ debut mayor for energy and environment.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has used Sutley help LA strive to become the “the greenest big city in America”.

Sutley was reportedly on Clinton’s California Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender steering committee.
