The Meineke Car Care Bowl 2009 teams have just been announced. The Meineke Car Care Bowl 2009 will be West Virginia and UNC!

The Meineke Car Care Bowl 2009 will feature University of North Carolina up against West Virginia facing off on December 27 in Charlotte.

“I’m excited for our players, coaches and fans for the opportunity to play in the 2008 Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte,” said North Carolina Athletic Director Dick Baddour in a statement today.

“Our program has made significant strides under the leadership of Coach Davis and I congratulate our student-athletes for their hard work and determination this season. North Carolina has always enjoyed a great relationship with the city of Charlotte. We had fantastic fan support in our previous bowl game here in 2004 and this will be another outstanding opportunity for our fans to follow the team in the postseason.”
