Jeff Katz WBT FIRED!
Jeff Katz of WBT has been fired says reports. WBT confirms Jeff Katz has been fired from WBT-AM 1110.
But Rick Jackson, WBT general manager, reportedly won’t say why.
Says local press: “Jeff Katz, whose conservative zeal and verbal swordsmanship have been a mainstay of afternoon drive time for two years, was fired Monday by WBT-AM (1110). Rick Jackson, WBT general manager, said he could not discuss the reason.”
Katz is out. In for his 3 to 6 p.m. slot is Tara Servatius. Reportedly radio fans didn’t get the news on Monday with the show still called the “Jeff Katz Show”
In 2008 Katz ranked in the “Heavy Hundred” list of top talk show personalities in America.
Servatius says of her new gig: “I like to dig into issues others aren’t looking at.”

Face it kids….Jeffy was not sacked as part of some left-wing conspiracy. Jeffy was sacked because he could not deliver the goods. Less advertisers were buying….less listeners were listening. He was a dullard. He was intellectually dishonest. He was inflammatory merely for the sake of being inflammatory. That said, I am not sure that I believe the whispers that he also had a penchant for young boys.

Good riddance to Mr. mute button, Katz was waay to condescending, waay to boring and relied on his mute button religiously to maintain control of his program. We want Jason Lewis back!!!!!

Jeff Katz was fired because he dared question the legitimacy of Barack Obama to be President (i.e. citizenship questions specifically). He would not let up and I think that unnerved some folks at WBT.
Tara is fine in his place but she is not in Jeff’s class———–yet!
