Move over Michael Moore. The Burger King is doing documentaries with Whooper Virgins. WhopperVirgins.com explores whopper virgins. Is this whopper “documentary” really a documentary or just marketing gone overboard?
The documentary is by Stacy Peralata and features “13 planes 2 dog sleds 1 helicopter”. The premise sounds like a Pepsi v. Coke commercial from the 1980s. Third party researchers are asking people to taste a Whopper and a Big Mac and decide which is better.
The catch – these people are located on the edges of the earth, far from any fast food restaurant. As the promo on whoppervirgins.com says, the documentary asks people to decide between two burgers even in countries where there isn’t a word for “burger”.
