The story of Tim Nickless and the Nickless family is on Extreme Makeover Home Edition tonight. Tim Nickless’ wife Arlene and family appear on Extreme Home tonight in a stunning attempt to achieve a family’s dream.

Arlene’s husband Tim of 18 years died earlier this year after being infected with Hepatitis C. He got the infection as a nurse at a Lansing, Michigan hospital where he worked.

She tells local press this week: “With it being so personal, it’s going to be very hard … reliving what we’ve gone through.”

The couple and three sons had been redoing a farmhouse for several years. Arlene and Tim couldn’t afford to repair the home after he got ill, and eventually Arlene lost her job.

Ty Pennington is joined tonight by local builder Mayberry Homes with team members Michael Moloney, Paige Hemmis, Ed Sanders and Rib Hillis.
