Alan was 58, his daughter Naomi was 13. The Scherrs from Virginia were on a 25-member delegation from the Synchronicity Foundation when they and four other delegates were killed by terrorists.

The Scherrs were killed inside the Trident-Oberoi Hotel’s cafe. The foundation has issued the following statement about Alan and Naomi’s passing:

“Alan committed most of his adult life to meditation, spirituality and conscious living. He was committed to making a positive difference in the world.”

Some reports now put the death toll at 143 with 284 injured.
