Abraham Biggs committed suicide on webcam via live streaming video on Justin.tv. Abraham Biggs webcam suicide on Justin.tv was announced by Biggs earlier in the day.

Biggs was 19 from Florida and used screen names “CandyJunkie” and “Mr Biggs”.

Biggs reportedly had told users on an unnamed bodybuilding forum he was going to going to commit suicide that night live via a streaming video webcam. The moderator reportedly ignored the post as a prank, others posted alleged insults and egged him on, says reports.

Last night, Biggs killed himself live via webcam from his bedroom.

Hours later, users reportedly realized Biggs (who killed himself with pills) wasn’t moving. Moderators then contacted authorities. The webcam was still broadcasting as police came into Biggs’ bedroom, edited above.

Justin.tv chief executive officer Michael Seibel reportedly told NewTeeVee.com today:

“As for the broadcaster incident last night, we don’t comment on individual videos, however, our policy prohibits inappropriate content on Justin.tv,. We rely on the community to flag videos that they feel are objectionable. Once a video is flagged, it is reviewed and quickly removed from the system if it violates our Terms of Use.”
