Jan Krugier DEAD

Famed Art dealer Jan Krugier is dead. A private funeral was held today. Jan Krugier is dead at age 80.
Krugier’s first gallery was in Geneva in 1962, his second in New York in 1987.
Krugier’s website describes its collection:
“The Jan Krugier Gallery is one of the world’s leading modern art galleries, specializing in 19th century, 20th century and contemporary fine art and original prints.
“The Gallery is the exclusive North American agent of the Marina Picasso Collection, the largest grouping of works from Picasso’s estate outside of the Musée Picasso in Paris. In addition, we exclusively represent the Alejandra, Aurelio and Claudio Torres Collection of works from the estate of Joaquin Torres-Garcia.

Krugier is survived by his wife and two children.
