Initial reports said yes. Since then, this weekend, those reports have been corrected, says E!

NBC has since said that Badalamenti never appeared on camera for the NBC show Biggest Loser. Instead, he was a trainer for a Biggest Loser contestant that lost on the show. Badalamenti reportedly worked with a contestant after being eliminated from the show’s fourth season.

He was arrested recently for allegedly beating his girlfriend’s 6 year old son with, what else, a … weight lifting belt.

“When they entered the apartment, they found the child in his bedroom, crying, with multiple lacerations, contusions and bruises” police tell E!.

No comment from Badalamenti at the time of that report.
