Marissa Miller was married to a Jim Miller, a Los Angeles surfing contest promoter and lifeguard but divorced in 2002. Thereafter, Miller was married to Hollywood producer Griffin Guess, on April 15, 2006.

Miller is an avid surfer (drool). She earned second place in the celebrity division of the Kelly Slater Surf Invitational.

As recently profiled on LALATE, Miller is ambassador for the American Cancer Society, and works with Young Survival Coalition and The Surfrider Foundation.
