Jagger, Mick’s ex wife, has had the rent stabilized apartment for over 20 years. But then she got into a landlord fight, not living there for the last few years, disputing alleged asbestos and fungus contamination in a suit against landlord Katz Park Avenue Corp.

Jagger is native of Nicaragua, a British citizen, with a tourist visa. That led the court to find she can’t call New York her primary residence.

The case could reportedly be a huge surprise for some New York rent stabilized tenants since they don’t usually disclose their visa status when they sign a lease.
