Some indications today say Madonna is worth $500 million. That number sounds low end considering she alone is expected to net $100 million herself from her current tour and related.

In June, LALATE was the first to break initial reports of a pending divorce between Ritchie and Madonna. Last night, LALATE told you new reports out of England of an official announcement within hours. Now Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s trusted friend and rep for decades, has confirmed the sad news.

“Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and-a-half years of marriage. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time.”

This is Madonna’s second marriage, after 4 years with Sean Penn.

Unconfirmed reports today claim that Ritchie stands to get a settlement in excess of $100 million.
