Schieffer says he is going to be more tight on getting clear answers from Obama and McCain tonight.

“By now we’ve all heard their talking points. We’ve heard the general outlines of what they are talking about. The time has come to be a little more specific. It will not embarrass me, if they go off in a different direction, to say, ‘Excuse me, could you focus on the question that I just asked?’ “

Amen!

Schieffer says, and LALATE believes, that the election is still very close with many voters still not decided.

The format for tonight is a roundtable, as McCain and Obama sit at the same table.
