Lauren Conrad is considering leaving The Hills. (Of course, Lauren and The Hills haven’t had any other form of publicity for themselves this month except the Audrina Justin Bobby Lauren Conrad story.) Now Lauren says leaving the Hills could be in her cards.

“It’s coming to a point where I love this show so much, but I’m ready to kind of walk away,” LC says. “I’ve been doing it for five years now. Five years on TV is a really, really long time.”

“It’s more difficult when not only everyone knows about your problems, but they make them worse because things escalate and things get twisted. It’s hard to have an actual friendship be torn apart in the media.”

Of course, she says that in an interview to the press, to EXTRA TV.

LC says of Whitney Port’s “The City” spinoff:

“I’m so proud of her for this next show. I think in The Hills she never really let them film her personal life. She hasn’t really experienced the whole ‘put your personal life on TV thing.’”
