Barack Osama is running for President, at least on New York ballots. New York Ballots have Barack Osama running for President next month, not Barack Obama. Ballot writers in New York apparently spell worse than LALATE.

The absentee ballots sent to voters in Rensselaer County are the ones that get Osama not Obama. The ballot did get John McCain’s name right.

Of course, an AP story adds this in case you don’t know. “In the United States, the best-known individual named Osama is Osama bin Laden, leader of the al Qaida terrorist group behind the 2001 attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center in New York City.”

The error was corrected and new ballots sent. Voters can use either the Osama or the Obama versions.
