Spears says in The Record that, despite the media attention during her spiral downward, there was a lot else that the public wasn’t told that she wants to spill now.

On the Record is a 90 minute documentary by Spears for her go-to broadcaster MTV.

Spears looks great, is great, and her new music absolutely rocks.

But question - this documentary is refreshing. But on the same beat, why consistently MTV? We all love Britney but it’s becomes a bit annoying to see Spears repeatedly go to MTV. How about Larry King? Ellen? The Tonight Show?

Spears issues a statement to MTV about the special.

“So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there’s a lot that people don’t know about me that I want them to know. I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed.”
