Gomez said she didn’t understand the Miley Cyrus v. Selena Gomez feud claims since she is going to launch a band, not a solo career like Cyrus.

Now Selena Gomez dishes on her new band and her auditions. Selena tells MTV the following:

“I’m going to be in a band, no Selena Gomez stuff. I’m not going to be a solo artist. I think that I don’t want my name attached to it.

“We plan on holding auditions in Hollywood, and in the meantime I will be in the studio recording some of the songs. As far as actual band members right now, we do not have any, but it is getting closer and closer and I am really excited to be in the studio.”
