McCain Michigan!

McCain Michigan

John McCain is moving his campaign out of Michigan. McCain is dropping Michigan as a possible winning state.

McCain in Michigan is reportedly pulling TV ads and mailers to allocate resources for more competitive states like Wisconsin, Ohio and Florida.

A McCain rep said today: “We felt like being able to play in Michigan up to this point was an offensive move,” a McCain aide said. “As we close down into Election Day, our map is going to become more targeted.”

“It’s not good news,” said Charles Yob, former GOP National Committeeman and co-chair of McCain’s Michigan campaign. “The national campaign targets states that they think have the best chance of winning. They pick the best four or five. We would like to have all the money we can, but we are still going ahead. We are going to make a comeback.”
