House Peters Jr. who played Mr Clean is dead. House Peters Jr played the original Mr Clean for Proctor and Gamble. Funeral arrangements for Mr Clean have not yet been announced.

Peters died here in Los Angeles at 92 yesterday.

Peters served as Mr Clean from the 1950s to the 1960s and also appeared in “Perry Mason,” “Gunsmoke,” “The Twilight Zone” and “Lassie.”

“He always played the heavy,” Jon Peters son said “Even though he wasn’t happy about being cast in those roles, he worked really hard at it.”

His father, Robert House Peters Sr., has a Hollywood star. He is also survived by wife, Lucy Pickett, a daughter, and another son.
