The Hudson murderer’s gun has been linked! The found gun has just been confirmed LINKED to the Hudson murders by police testing. The gun used to kill Hudson Donerson, Jason Hudson, and Julian King has been confirmed as the gun found near the parked SUV where Julian King’s body was found, reports Chicago Sun Times.

On Thursday, AP reported that that a gun was found in a vacant lot around the corner from the SUV’s parked location. The report said the gun was sent to Illinois State Police for testing and could take time. Now today Chicago Sun Times says its confirmed linked to the crimes but that Illinois State Police are trying to confirm if the weapon was fired by William Balfour.

“Police are still investigating whether the gun was linked to William Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister Julia Hudson, sources said. The gun had been sent to the Illinois State Police lab for testing.”

Yesterday,  AP said police are comparing the gun with the shells recovered in the Hudson home, with no confirmation of any shell recovery from inside or near the SUV. Yet today the Chicago Sun Times says the weapon has been linked also to Julian King’s shooting without any mention of shell recoveries.

As reported yesterday from AP, police believe Julian King was alive at the house after the killing of Darnell and Jason. A taking of Julian from the home to the SUV, coupled with murder, could place a defendant with charges of premeditation for King’s death.

American Idol’s Simon Fuller is threatening a lawsuit on contestant Josiah Leming for plans to release an album to assist his dieing mother, claims reports. Joshia Leming has a contract with Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment as an American Idol contestant, claim reports, but that is not stopping Leming from releasing a major label album … with someone else!

Here is the latest.

Josiah Leming has a major label album coming out early 2009. How major? Warner Brothers’ Reprise Records!

However, MTV citing New York Post, is reporting that Leming, now 19, didn’t make Idol’s top 24 during his season.

“[B]ut a strict contract all “Idol” contestants must sign that makes them promise to record only with the “Idol”-preferred label, Sony/BMG, and gives show producer Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment exclusive rights of refusal for management and merchandising. So his current record deal might be in violation of that pact.”

So what happened when Leming went with Warners?

Says the report, Leming “received an official letter from ‘Idol’ threatening legal action if he puts out his record in January as planned.”

No comment yet from Leming, Fuller, or Warners to the report.

The report says Leming is going ahead because his mother is battling tragic terminal cancer. A source says “nothing is going to stop him from getting his music out while she is alive to share it.”

POLL! A new stunning poll says 1 in 7 voters are still undecided for the presidential election, just hours away. A new poll says the undecided presidential vote is 14%, with 1 in 7 voters still able to be convinced of either candidate as their pick.

“One in seven, or 14 percent, can’t decide or back a candidate but might switch, according to an Associated Press-Yahoo! News poll of likely voters released Friday.”

Who are the undecided voters?

The poll says they tend to be liberal, white voters, who wanted Hillary Clinton.

“For now, their indecision remains intact despite the fortunes that have been spent to tug people toward either McCain, the Republican, or the Democrat Obama. Fueling their uncertainty is a combination of disliking something about both candidates and frustration with this campaign and politics in general.”

The same survey reportedly shows Obama 51% to McCain’s 43% with a 3% margain of error.

Of those 14% undecided, 40% might go Obama, 40% might go McCain.
