Mindy McCready is going to jail. Country singer Mindy McCready will serve 60 days in jail starting Tuesday. McCready’s jail term is for violating her probation on a 2004 charge.

McCready falsified her community service records, a violation of probation obviously.

McCready is hoping to get back to music and regain custody of son Zander. Her first album Ten Thousand Angels went gold its first six months.
