Lakeview Terrace reviews are encouraging but not great. Samuel L. Jackson, Patrick Wilson, Kerry Washington lead Lakeview Terrace which gets good reviews but not great today.

Samuel L. Jackson plays a racist Los Angeles cop who lives next door to an interracial couple – Patrick Wilson, Kerry Washington.

The movie is less than 2 hours which is consistent with review of its plot – there is none, reportedly. The movie, described as thriller, is worth seeing if you are a big SLJ fan like LALATE certainly is.

But don’t expect the triller to blow you away.

“You can listen to that noise all night long,” Turner (Jackson) says to his white neighbor, “but when you wake up in the morning you’ll still be white.”

Reviews describe the film as really basically a middle class neighbor dispute film that doesn’t have a great enough plot to have to jump off your seat, with exciting tense moments that reportedly don’t tie well together.
