Who wants Lindsay Lohan? Not McCain Palin and reportedly now not even Obama Biden. A new report claims Barack Obama said no way to Lindsay Lohan’s offer to host a celebrity event for Obama’s campaign.

The Chicago Sun-Times claims a high ranking official inside the Obama Biden camp said the campaign rejected the LiLo offer because Lohan “is not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us.”

No confirmation from Lindsay to the report.

SamRo - Samatha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan - have been using their blog to send messages to myspace “friends” to not vote for Sarah Palin’s ticket because of Lohan’s claim that Palin is anti gay.

The response by the McCain camp today to the news: “So let me get this straight — they turned away Lindsay Lohan, but Barack Obama has friends like unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and convicted felon Tony Rezko? Maybe LiLo is just too upstanding for Barack Obama.”

The followup response by the Obama camp “Glad to see they’re focused on the important issues over in McCain HQ.”
