Lauren Conrad is getting her own books. Lauren Conrad will have three adult fiction books released. The Conrad books are based upon her life.

The publisher: Harper Collins.

“It’s definitely influenced by my own life,” Conrad tells PEOPLE. “The books are about a girl who moves to L.A. and stars in a reality show, so obviously there are some similarities.”

Montag and Pratt won’t appear in the book. Rather, Conrad will reportedly draw from personal experiences in her own life as inspiration or to “symbolize people in my life” says LC.

Lauren Bosworth has been giving LC her thoughts on initial storyline. Conrad has finished the first book’s outline.
