PICTURES! Here are photos of Tara Grinstead. Tara Grinstead a former beauty queen has been missing since 2005. Grinstead is a 30-year-old schoolteacher and beauty queen missing since attending a Saturday night beauty pageant in October 22, 2005.

Her disappearance is strange.

When police went to search her home, they found her clothes piled on her bedroom floor, her car in the driveway, her cellphone charged, her purse and keys missing, a latex glove in the front yard with no DNA results.

Her car seat pushed too far back, a full pile of cash on her car dashboard.

The reward is now at $200,000 — $100,000 for Grinstead’s safe return and $100,000 for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for abducting her. If you know any details, call 229-468-TIPS.

GIBSON: What insight into Russian actions, particularly in the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of the state give you?

PALIN: They’re our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.

COURIC: You’ve cited Alaska’s proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?

PALIN: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land– boundary that we have with– Canada. It– it’s funny that a comment like that was– kind of made to– cari– I don’t know, you know? Reporters–

COURIC: Mock?

PALIN: Yeah, mocked, I guess that’s the word, yeah.

COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.

PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our– our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They’re in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia–

COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?

PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We– we do– it’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is– from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to– to our state.

Renee Bowman had three daughters. That is until Bowman allegedly froze two of them. Renee Bowman is under investigation for allegedly freezing two of her three children. Police detained Bowman after the third daughter, not frozen, ran for it before she faced an alleged possible frozen fate herself.

Renee Bowman is 43. In a story that sounds like an except from Sweeney Todd meets Mommie Dearest, Bowman is under investigation for the death of the two frozen daughters. Both were adopted. Bowman is from Maryland.

Why did she do it? Bowman allegedly told investigators that sometimes she “just loses control”.

Fareed Zakaria, host of Fareed Zakaria: GPS on CNN, says in Newsweek today that Sarah Palin should be removed from the McCain Palin ticket. Fareed Zakaria says Palin is utterly unqualified. Zakaria’s Palin comments blast both Palin as inexerienced and McCain as wrong in choosing Palin.

Zakaria writes of Palin:

“Can we now admit the obvious? Sarah Palin is utterly unqualified to be vice president. She is a feisty, charismatic politician who has done some good things in Alaska. But she has never spent a day thinking about any important national or international issue, and this is a hell of a time to start… In these times, for John McCain to have chosen this person to be his running mate is fundamentally irresponsible. McCain says that he always puts country first. In this important case, it is simply not true.

“Gov. Palin has been given a set of talking points by campaign advisers, simple ideological mantras that she repeats and repeats as long as she can. But if forced off those rehearsed lines, what she has to say is often, quite frankly — nonsense. Just listen to her response to Katie Couric’s question about the bailout. It’s gibberish — an emptying out of catchphrases about economics that have nothing to do with the question or the topic. It’s scary to think that this person could be running the country.”

How does he compare Sarah Palin to Dan Quayle?

“This is way beyond Dan Quayle. Quayle was a lightweight who was prone to scramble his words, or say things that sounded weird, but you almost always knew what he meant. One of his most famous miscues was to the United Negro College Fund when he said, “What a terrible thing to have lost one’s mind. Or not to have a mind at all.” Now he was trying to play off a famous ad that the group used to run, “A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste.” And he screwed it up in a funny way. But read Gov. Palin’s answers and it does appear that she doesn’t have any understanding about the topic under discussion.”
