Kara DioGuardi name became household this morning with news that she is American Idol’s new fourth judge. That fourth judge format mirrors the structure of the original British show.
But behind the scenes, every name in music has known of Kara DioGuardi’s talent for years.

She WROTE “We Rock”, yes the Camp Rock lead song!

And she did the smash song “No Other Man. “Cristina Aguilera’s “Aint No Other Man”, written by Kara DioGuardi, is nominated for a 2008 BMI Pop Award.This award marks Kara’s 10th BMI award over the span of her impressive career.”
She is some talent. Kara is amazing!

Finally American Idol will have a judge that knows what she is talking about.

Is she being groomed to take over for the failing Paula Abdul? As well known as she is, will she be enough of a shot in the arm to revive the interest in the show? I have my doubts on that one.

I’m not a huge fan of American Idol. It is just stale. Maybe she will bring some life to the show.

She certainly has some impressive artist’s in her list of credits.
Hopefully she’ll be able to turn AI around – it’s become pretty stale the past couple of seasons and I hadn’t planned on watching it this year.
Perhaps I’ll watch once or twice to see what effect she has on the show.

I bet she is being groomed for Paula’s spot. Paula doesn’t seem well to me. The show needed something new anyway. Their viewership was substantially down last season.

She certainly sounds talented. It’s amazing how many artists work behind the scenes and we never really know them till they step forward. I wish her luck. I think the judging does need a shot in the arm. Hope this works.

A shot in the arm is what is needed for sure. Interesting that she worked with Clay Aiken and others from the show.
