Michael Phelps will get another performance, now on SNL Saturday Night Live.

Michael Phelps will host “Saturday Night Live” on Sept. 13 for its season premiere. Lil Wayne will be the musical guest. This is the 34th season for Saturday Night Live.

Of course, SNL hasn’t been really funny since the last ice age. Hopefully Phelps will give this show something to watch.

Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael Lohan says ’s Lindsay is drinking again because of Samantha Ronson. Now Lindsay is gone to myspace to attack dad Michael about the allegations.

“I’ve been up and down the road (in discussions) with my ex-wife (Dina) and it’s to the point now that I’m going to confront Samantha and Jenny Muro (Lindsay’s production assistant) myself,” Michael said to MSNBC Tuesday.

“Samantha drinks and passes the drinks under the table to Lindsay, and behind the scenes it gets worse and worse,” Michael says. “Sam is using my daughter. My daughter isn’t working because she’s always with Sam. Even my ex-wife knows it. She just isn’t doing anything about it.”

Lohan’s rep quickly slammed the allegation by daddy Lohan as false.

Now today Lindsay has gone to myspace and make the following response herself.

If you have something to say to me, say it to my face - that’s what I have believed my whole life - don’t be a coward and say it to others first, let alone to all the media in the world.

It really hurts, because I have tried - after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, I really tried to make things work - for the hope of having a father again and wanting things to change - even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.

He has become a public embarrassment and a bully - to my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (it’s obvious who that is).

His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS - FAME. If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it. Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.

OUCH!

Tropical Depression “Eight” is set to become “Tropical Storm Hanna” and possibly “Hurricane Hanna 2008″. LALATE has projected path, map and tracking on Tropical Storm - Hurricane Hanna.

There is currently a tropical depression forming today, Thursday, in the Atlantic, called EIGHT. It’s called EIGHT simply because it’s the 8th depression of the season. Now EIGHT is expected to grow into a tropical storm, rather than just a depression, and would then be called Hanna. Unfortunately for you wikipedia fans, you may get confused because there was a Tropical Storm Hanna also in 2002.

PHOTO! Here is the picture of Michael Jason Registe who has been captured!

Michael Jason Registe, wanted in the killing of Randy Newton Jr and Bryan Kilgore, two Columbus State University students last year, was captured in St. Maarten last night.

Registe was added to FBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted list in July and his reward up’d to $100,000. That appeared to have worked because he was caught less than 30 days later, last night, on the Caribbean island.

Registe’s capture resulted from tips from the hit tv show America’s Most Wanted. Registe is expedited to sent back to the U.S. shortly.

Pierre Colas is dead, but why? Nashville Police are investigating the death of Pierre Colas, a professor at Vanderbilt shot dead yesterday night. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced for Colas.

Colas was a Vanderbilt University Assistant Professor of Anthropology. Pierrewas shot dead and his sister from Switzerland injured. She is currently in critical but stable condition.

Dara Torres is in surgery! Dara Torres off her 3 silver medals at the Beijing Olympic Games had surgery on her shoulder today. Dara Torres’ surgery is for a distal clavicle resection she has suffered from since the 2000 Olympics.

Torres has earned 12 Olympic medals during her lifetime.
